on the weekend和in the weekend有什么区别

I play football at the weekend. (正确)I play football on the weekend. (正确)I play football in the weekend. We used to go to the beach at the weekend. (正确)We used to go to the beach on the weekend. (正确)We used to go to the beach in the weekend. (错误)而 over/during the weekend 既可以用于英式英语，又可以用于美式英语，一般来说它们跟 at/on the weekend 是一样的，例如：Are you doing anything over/during the weekend He tod me to give you a call over the weekend.

on the weekend和in the weekend 当然有去别…

on the weekend ≈ this weekend = 这个周末。

in the weekend ≈ next weekend = 下个周末。

例如:go on ≈ continue
