country和village的区别

country：作“国家、国土”解时，表示地理概念，是可数名词；作“乡下、乡村”解时是单数名词，常与the连用。有时可用于名词前作定语；作“地区,土地”解，常用于形容词之后。

village：可数名词。基本意思是有教堂的“村庄、乡村”，在美式英语中，可指最小的地方行政单位“村”。
