affection用法及搭配

affection作“喜爱,深挚的感情”解时,是不可数名词,但前面可用不定冠词和修饰语,后面可接介词for或towards。

当affection用于复数时,意思是“爱情,感情”。

affection和love都可以表示男女间的爱恋之情,但affection语气比love轻。

He's so susceptible that she easily gained his affection.

他易受感情影响，所以她很轻易就得到了他的爱。

You appear to me to allow nothing for the influence of friendship and affection.

我觉得你未免否定了友谊和感情对于一个人的影响。

Don't squander your affection on him, he'll never love you.

不要把感情浪费在他身上，他是永远不会爱你的。
