“between you and me”不能解释为“你我之间”

【例句】It's between you and me, or I'll have to sack you.【误解】这只是在你和我之间，否则我不得不开除你。

【正确】保守秘密，否则我不得不开除你。

【说明】between you and me本意是“仅限于你我之间”，也就是说“只能你和我知道”，即“要保守秘密”。

再如：This is just between you and me, is not to be told to anyone else. 这事只是你知道我知道，不要告诉别人。
