龙

loong是对中国“龙”的一个新的译法，在英语中早有用这个词来音译中文名字中的“龙”，如李小龙的名字音译就用了loong。因为dragon所代表的龙的形象和中国龙不一样，所以有人建议用发音相近的loong来翻译中国龙。另外一个建议就是用seraph六翼天使来翻译，因为希伯来语中的seraph原意与内涵和中国龙非常接近。
